I'm currently perplexed with this situation, as I just can't seem to get my head around it.
We have a SSG 320m at our main office which has 2 tunnels to 2 other locations, which work fine. But now I'm trying to add a third, which is configured differently as it's for a satellite office which will have a dynamic IP.
I followed the instructions as per https://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=KB14330&smlogin=true&actp=search, which was straightforward. But I'm not getting anything. The newly created VPNs on both SSGs are down for some odd reason, and there aren't any error messages, which just seems counter-productive. I've never had this problem with other networking devices in the past.
I tried following the troubleshooting method here: https://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=KB9221&actp=METADATA, all the way to the bottom and now I'm supposed to contact Juniper for assistance. Why would something so simplistic happen to 2 Juniper devices simultaenously. I removed the configurations from each device and started over as a precaution, but the same thing keeps happening. Am I missing something here? Are these kb pages outdated?
