It looks firewall is either not sending the DNS query or not receiving the response. In non working condition, what is you DNS client's IP? Can you please check the below information as well during the issue:
get config | in "dns proxy"
get config | in "server-select"
get dns host settings
get dns server-select
get dns proxy
