I have some SSG-5s that I set up years ago. The bgroup Interface IP AND the Manage IP are the same.
I have read that this is the default condition. Yes I have!
I have also received error messages when trying to change the bgroup Interface IP (in the same subnet) that say that the Interface IP and the Manage IP cannot be the same.
Yet, through some trickery that I can't remember (the order of which things are set when), I have been able to get them to be the same using the J-Web interface. But, now I can't remember.
The CLI gives the same kind of error.
All I want is for them to remain the same .. but changed from what they are now.
How can the default be one thing but intentional settings have a different rule?
How can I get what I want?
